The surprise we had been waiting for...

My best moment at Reading was not when I was stuck in the welfare tent vomiting for hours, oh no. As special of a moment that was I had an even more incredible experience, the kind that I will be boasting about for years to come. After Billy Joe tweeted "What rhymes with shreading," the rumours that Greenday might be playing at Reading were amplified. Initially, everyone thought they would be on at 12 on Saturday, however I heard they were supposed to be on at 11am, at twenty to 11. It takes 45 minutes to walk to the arena. Nursing a sick stomach we all sprinted to the arena and managed to get in just after they started, and holy crap was it worth it. Everyone should experience the wall of death before midday at some point in there lives!
Greenday was "The best worst kept secret in Britain" -Billy Joe.
Here are images of some of the bands I saw, plus some incredible pictures of the Reading festival goers.  'Man' in the summer dress, I salute you.
This is what Reading is all about.
Me far right with my friends Becky Okell, Imogen Meborn-Hubbard and yes, Harry Styles

Awkward

Hello all,
This was a photo shoot I decided to do on a whim for my portfolio because I just felt like making some beautifully awkward situations that day. The shot on the swings was a challenge to get because we were kicked out of two children's playgrounds before getting the final picture, we had to just get in and get out as swiftly as possible. The eyebrows made this a challenge. Primrose Hill was the location and my awkward models were Imogen Meborn-Hubbard (check out her blog) and Arby Lee. By the way, we asked those two guys to stay in the picture and act normal... the one on the right was loving it and probably thought he was going to be in GQ, whereass the other was only pretending to be inhospitable...
